coffee, go-nuts, pursuit of happyness and 300

last monday, nayj went here and we just hang out since we are going to have our exam this week. nagpapahinga muna before the big exams.. which is really not that big. hehe..

then nung tuesday, we took our Java exam wherein all of us do not even know what we are answering. parang, wait lang, tama ba tong exam na kinukuha ko? well, our professor told us that he'll give considerations about it since it's really not his expertise. our formal prof resigned kasi so he has to take over even though he is more proficient in Cisco than Java. so that's what happened. our quiz was a full GUESS quiz.

after that, we went to Glorietta again to watch a movie. since we decided before pa na papanoorin namin ang Pursuit of Happyness ni Will Smith kahit na gusto manood ni nayj ng 300, pinanood padin namin ang Pursuit. and my money was well spent. super duper galing ni Will Smith umarte. no wonder he got an Oscar nomination for it. nanalo ba siyang best actor? i forgot if he won that award. anyhoo, his son was so cute, ang galing umarte. pati since the movie was really dramatic, his son was the one who brings smiles and laughs through out the movie. watch it, it's a very nice and inspiring movie.

because of that movie, i learned to value everything that i have especially my education. what i know would take me places and i am going to use it for my own development. naks! i can't believe i am actually saying this. kasi the movie depicts the poverty that one can experience in the US. kung sa atin, may mga squatters area, sa kanila wala. they really have to find a shelter kahit sa CR ng Subway pinili nilang matulog para lang makapag-pahinga sila.

why does the Happiness spelled as Happyness in the movie? because there was this quote from an American President, i forgot his name, and it was written outside the daycare of Will Smith Jr. and the owner of the daycare was Chinese so he didn't know how to spell it right. Will Smith was the one who always corrects him. hehe..

i just realized that having coffee really soothes you.. parang ang haba-haba ng time tapos ang dami dami niyong napag-uusapan pati talgang when you have coffee, you really have time to converse with each other. salamat sa brewed coffee ng Go-Nuts. sarap din ng donuts nila. hehe..

we watched 300 just this afternoon. though i was not familiar with the story, i enjoyed it. ganda ng pagkagawa and i was with my barkada. so that was really the point of it all. excited na din ako sa outing namin sa Saturday sa Splash! my first time. hehe.. blog nalnag ako tomorrow.
